my name is Mareen and I am 23 years old. I originally come from Metzingen, that’s a small town near Stuttgart in the southern part of Germany which is called Swabia.
Coming to my academically background. In 2005 I started my business administration and management study at Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten (Ravensburg is located in the very south of Germany, close to the lake Constance) with focus on “Finance and International Management”. For improving my English skills and gaining experiences about a different culture and way of life, I spent one semester of my bachelor study overseas in Australia and studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). I really enjoyed this time and I already plan my next trip to Australia.
An internship in the purchasing department and the work as working student in the division of Customer Relations gave me the oppourtunity to gain considerably practical experience. In addition to that I wrote my bachelor thesis within a company to extend my theoretical knowledge with the help of practical know-how. During these first working experiences I recognized that in every company project management is a big issue and to improving and extending this knowledge area on an international level I started the EUROMPM.
My first language is German but I also speak English and French. (For refreshing my French knowledge I am very interested to spend some time in France or work in a French environment.) My IT skills regarding to MS Office are on a very good level especially concerning presentations and document creation. In addition to that I have some experience with SAP (R/3, BW and MDM).
Outside university I like meeting my friends, travelling and doing some sports. My favorites are skiing and snowboarding in winter and scuba diving in summer.
